June 2-6: Play in a Week Camp

The Breakthrough Theatre Company presents its annual, and most popular camp, "Play in a Week", from June 2-6, 2025.

​

In this camp, students learn all aspects of putting on a play, and actually learn and perform it, in only one week.

 

This year's play will be announced soon, but there will be roles for all ages.

 

The camp runs Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

 

The play will be performed on the following dates and times:
Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7, at 7 p.m.

 

Tips will be collected at each performance and divided amongst the students.

 

This camp is for ages 9-17. No experience necessary.

 

Camp Fee: $125 per student

 

Campers will receive a snack and drink each day, but they may also bring food from home.

June 9-13: Improv and Theater Games Camp for Middle School

JUNE 9-13: IMPROVISATION and THEATER GAMES SUMMER CAMP for MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

 

This camp is for grades 6-8, and is limited to 20 students.

 

Students will learn theater skills through playing theater games and improvisation. These are important skills to become better actors.

 

The benefits of learning improv:
1. become a better actor
2. confidence building
3. become better at public speaking
4. helps bring you out of your shell
5. you'll become a better listener
6. helps you to become a better team player
7. helps you to think quicker on your feet
8. increased creativity
9. increased ability to adapt to change

*There will be a free student showcase on Friday, June 13, at 11:30 a.m., for family and friends.

This camp is for ages 4-9, and is limited to 20 students.

 

During this week of camp, students will be fully immersed in Bluey activities: acting scenes, dress up, dance parties, songs, arts and crafts, and more fun and games related to the beloved series.

 

Camp is held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

 

There will be a free student showcase on Friday, June 27, at 11:30 a.m. for parents and friends.

 

Camp Cost: $100.00
