The Breakthrough Theatre Company will hold auditions for the Steven Stack mystery, "She Wrote, Died, Then Wrote Some More", on the following dates and times:

Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sunday, March 30, 4-6 p.m.
*No appointments, just show up between the hours listed. Unfortunately, not taking video auditions.

SYNOPSIS: Tonight was going to be writer Alina Deveraux’s most important night, the unveiling of her memoirs: a non-fiction fictional retelling of Alina’s life moment by moment up until three hours ago when she finished it.

Until she ended up dead. Or not dead.

 

The comedic, melodramatic one-act mystery, She Wrote, Died, Then Wrote Some More, is a hilarious romp that features betrayals, broken hearts, a rather odd but beautiful love story, and many twists.

 

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. If you have never performed in a Breakthrough production, please bring a current headshot or face picture. Resumes appreciated, but optional.

All roles are unpaid, BUT we collect tips at each performance that are divided amongst the cast.

**Saturday, May 10, has two performances: 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.**

Sunday, May 4, 6-8 p.m.
*No appointments, just show up between the hours listed. There are no video auditions.

 

SYNOPSIS: King Henry VIII is trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by a sinister Fool and the ghostly Women in White. Here in his gilded cage, he is forced to relive the sins he committed against his queens, mistresses and people of the court, over and over again, for an eternity.
