Get Happy!
featuring Becky Fisher

with David Nelson on piano
Get Happy!, with Becky Fisher, is a feel-good evening of cabaret fun with a musical mix of vintage and contemporary Broadway and Pop, along with some original parodies.  Through songs and personal observations, Becky explores the art of finding and maintaining happiness with her own brand of irreverent humor. David Nelson will be at the piano as they span several decades, composers, and genres of music.

September 4, 5, 11, 12 at 8:00 p.m.

Rebecca Fisher has made Orlando her home since 1990.  She and husband Joe Swanberg set out to form a theatre group led by college friend David Lee.  The Per4mAnts Theatre Project lasted for 5 years.  Most of the group’s plays were performed at The Big Bang, Sam Singhouse’s iconic Orlando night club. Becky and her husband have one daughter, Kyla Swanberg who is now grown and ready for college.  Over the years, Becky has been able to perform for a living in a number of ways from theatre to training films.  She is part of a tribe of friends who have made her life rich and keep her learning and laughing. Since 2005, she has been a regular cast member of the hit show Menopause The Musical. The biggest theatre phenomenon of her lifetime, Menopause The Musical  has given her so much more than an equity card.  So far she has done the show in 55 cities all across the country.  After a year of being mostly on the road, Becky is glad to be home again!
